Cool picnic

As said yesterday, I went to a picnic with some friends in Oise, by the river. A lot to eat (sorry no pictures!), a lot to drink and beautiful girls...and Carlos! Half of them had worked night shift so they were a "bit" tired after the first glass of rosé! After almost everybody had left around 7pm, Mathieu and I stayed for a big nap by the river (on separate blanket!). Then on the way home I had a little race with a VW Golf. I was doing around 240kph! A cool picnic indeed...

Old fashion picnic

Sometimes, it's good to make things simple. Just take a look at those pictures. It was the perfect picnic, like the ones I used to do with my parents when I was a child (long time ago since I'm getting quite old now!). It's got it all : the salad in a real Tupperware, the Nutella (what a wonderful product. Lots of use to it!) glasses, the "saucisson sec" and pikles in plastic container. The only thing we didn't have was the red wine, replaced here by farm made cider. We had a lovely evening, especially after a taugh week at work. And today I probably will go for a BBQ or something else that will involve vast quantity of alcohol and hopefully beautiful girls to look at! But first thing first, I need to burn a bit a fat so it's off to the gym!

Days off are over

And I would do with a few another one actually! It's been a very tiring week-end. Yesterday, as said, I went to the swimming pool and I still wonder how I did not drown! I was so tired after an hour I couldn't even walk properly. Then I went to shop with my brother who's trying to find a decent suit to go to my wedding. It was quite hard to find him anything really because he's so skinny he has to buy the first size, which is a 46 and which is very rare. We found one at Givenchy for less than 300 Euro. And now I'm off to work! Great!

Crazy week

Apart from working really hard at the moment. I managed to find the time to go out with Adrian and Soizic t o the Hemingway bar last friday. Collin, the best barman in the world, was there and it was nice to see him after such a long time. Last time we were there was when Adrian and me got stop by the Police because I went through a red light (it was orange to me!). This time it was a bit better because we had a lovely girl with us (sorry again for the picture quality)Adrian and I had our usual Bloody Bull Shot, best cocktail ever! and some other cocktails, one which seems to be 100% vodka! All 3 of us had a crazy night, Rival, Hemingway, Sherwood cafe (with an Australian Ballet dancer who couldn't keep his hands of our little protégée!), the Queen and to finish it off la Belle Ferronnière. I hardly remember how I got back home. Adrian, mate, I have to come to your place on a sober day because I really don't know where you live eventhough I drove you back!
Yesterday, after night shift, Soizic, Mathieu and I had a drink in la Belle Ferronnière again and we decided after being there 4 hours that it would be a good idea to have a BBQ at Mathieu's place. Off we went and we had more to drink than to eat. Thing is that I had a dinner planned with Uta and her friend in the evening. I still wonder today how I got to stay awake 33 hours straight! And I was not even drunk (well not as much as friday night!) I even drove us back home. Today it's going to be a slow day.
On a lighter note, here's some pictures of our little Normandy week-end. We stayed at the Normandy Barrière hotel in Deauville. They were really nice to us and gave us an up-grade in a junior suite. We got some cool amenities too : local products and Champagne! I could live like this all the time!
And now it's off to the swimming pool to get rid of all those toxins I accumulated lately!
