Facebook is killing blogs

Well at least mine! I usually don't spend too much time on the computer but when I do; I am hook up n Facebook right away! I don't want to spend more time either on computer, I have got a life for crying out loud! It comes then to a predicament : Facebook or blog? I decided to choose an easier option which is either I go on Facebook or I do a post on my blog. And seeing the state of my blog, you can imagine where I have been the past 3 months. That said, I just came back from a wonderful holidays in Egypt. We stayed in Cairo, then in Sharm el Sheikh the back to Cairo. And we stayed Four Seasons and that, my friend, is the summum of luxury. Where else would you find people offering you ice cream, water or even to clean your sunglasses when you lay down lazily by the swimming pool? I mean someone cleaning my sunglasses, who thought of that? Probably a guest with no hands. "Hey can you help me there with my glasses?" Evry staff is so nice to you it gets a bit on your tits after a while. "Thank you, enjoy your meal" "Thank you enjoy your drink" "Enjoy your shisha" "Enjoy going back to your room"... It seems that everything you do must be done with joy. I really enjoyed putting on my boxer short this morning!
Anyway, that feels good to be on the other side for once.
Another good thing about staying in such luxurious hotel is that you do not have to worry about getting food poisoning. They have got the freshest of foods. We got sashimi that were swimming five minutes before ending in our plates (well almost...)
In Cairo, we got an executive suite which was huge! We got to see the pyramids and this is very impressive. Just think those big things have been built more than 3500 years ago with just manpower it is quite astonishing. They even buried a boat next to Gizah pyramid so that the dead pharaoh can sail through the afterlife. And I am not talking about a dingy, no I am talking about a 40 meter boat!
We got around in style too : BMW 5 series with private guide. That is cool, and for almost the price of 2 main course in a 3 Michelin starred restaurant!
But now, it's back to reality and work will come soon. And I will be the one saying "enjoy your day, meal,...".
Not before a lunch barbecue at Austen's tomorrow!
